Short-term mission trips
Short term mission trips (STMs) are a great opportunity to encourage and support other Christians living around Australia and the world and to reach out to people who have not yet heard the gospel. A STM also undoubtedly challenges those who serve as short-term missionaries. Members of RPC have participated in STMs to destinations as diverse as Ecuador, India, Jerusalem, South-East Asia, Uganda and Central Australia.
As a church we aim to organise a short-term mission trip each year. In 2009 and 2012 we sent teams to Ecuador and in 2010 a team visited a number of Aboriginal communities in outback Australia. In 2013, 2015 & 2016 teams visited our missionaries, Ian & Erin Reid, who are working with university students in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
